We came across a list of 28 women who rock the sneaker trend, and we have to say, they all look fantastic. Not only are they comfortable, but they also add an element of chicness to any outfit. In fact, sneakers have become a staple in many women’s wardrobes. It’s no longer just about wearing the fanciest clothes or high heels. There's nothing special about the fights, making them feel like an incredibly wasted opportunity. It’s amazing how fashion has evolved over the years. In the fourth game, the bosses get no cutscenes and are essentially generic fights against hostile humans who just happen to be wearing absurd outfits. In previous games, all the bosses had cutscenes to show off their personality, as well as unique weapons and fighting styles. However, 4 also removed an important thing about the bosses. To its credit, Dead Rising 4's bosses have some decent concepts, like an evil mall Santa and a pirate mascot turned bad. Related: The Best Sci-Fi Horror Games Of All Time This was another place where Dead Rising 4 decided to change the status quo, and unlike Sega's last-minute move regarding Sonic's rings, it was again in the wrong direction. They provide a lot of the most memorable moments in each game. They run a wide range, from power-mad security guards to a chainsaw-juggling clown. While the Dead Rising games are all teeming with zombies, the true threats to the player were the human bosses. When stripped down to simply killing zombies, Dead Rising loses what makes it special. Running against the clock and saving survivors were a bigger driving force for the games than cutting through zombie hordes. In 4 though, Frank never needs to escort survivors, only clear out zombies so that they can escape on their own.Įven though Dead Rising 4 returned to Willamette, it didn't keep the previous games' charm. In the first two games, escorting survivors, while difficult and occasionally frustrating, was the game's main challenge, while in Dead Rising 3 they were essentially allies that could accompany Nick. 4 made a second big change by removing the requirement to escort survivors. Without the timer, the game loses its main source of difficulty. It forced players to make decisions quickly, and maximize the use of their time if they wanted to do everything. Although it was quite strict in the first two games, the clock was a big part of what made Dead Rising exciting. One of the big changes in Dead Rising 4 was the removal of the clock. In contrast, Frank's attitude in 4 makes him come off as a jerk who doesn't take the threat to everyone's lives, seriously. In past games, the more humorous elements came mostly from the optional costumes and ridiculous weapons, while the story was mostly serious. Frank spends a lot of the game making wisecracks and side comments, but very few of them land, with a few being outright cringeworthy. While the idea is fine, Dead Rising 4 handled its humor badly. The fact that Dead Rising 4 takes place around Christmas, complete with decorations scattered about, is the first sign that the game was trying to be more lighthearted. Like how Saw should have learned more from Silent Hill, Dead Rising 4 should have studied the tone of its predecessor. The game's attempts at humor fall flat, hurting the mood of the story. It seems that Dead Rising 4 attempted to reverse that tone, but it went too far in the other direction. Dead Rising 3 received a fair amount of criticism for being darker and more morose than the previous two games.
